I really love this piece, especially the use of Yellow as the predominant color (it's far too common for Green to be used as the dominant Dragon color) and incorperating black into it.

I think this was my first or second piece for L5R and I have to admit I don't know any more why I took yellow as the predominant color. Seemed fitting to me I think.

love love love this piece. Particularly the use of yellow as the primary color of her clothing and not the green so many people use (As a Dragon myself, I'd love to see this catch on more, hell, it's our border color!) and not just yellow, but that sort of 'burnt' color. The only criticism I have for it really is something looks off with her face, the nose/forehead area specifically, but I can't quite pick out what it is. I love the composition too, she fits in perfectly with her background and looks very appropriate for a Dragon Samurai.
